ENCOUNTERS A HEAVY SOUTHERLY GALE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, midnight. The s.s. Moura, with the Taviuni in tow, had to return and take shelter at Cape Kidnappers to-day, after getting as far as Castlepoint, owing to experiencing a heavy southerly, which she was quite unable to make headway against.
