STEAM SERVICE.
By Telegraph— Press Association. Christchurch, last night. Three companies—the New Zealand Shipping, Shaw, SavilJ, and Union Company—have jointly tendered for the South Africa steam service, the main points being cabled to the London office of the °first-named company. The companies state they are unaware of the conditions of the tender as advertised in England.
