FAMINE. AN EXTRAVAGANT SHOW. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Bombay, Sept. 0. General rains have fallen m India and the fears of a famine are over. Lord Cuizon estimates that the Durbar to be held at Delhi to to celebrate the proclamation of King Edward as Emperor will cost thirty-nine lakhs of rupees. The Duke and Duchess of Connaught will represent the King, and the Prince of Wales is expected to visit India later.
