PUBLIC WORKS EXPENDITURE
j Special to Times. | Wellington, last night. The North Island has stcuted a large amount of the money voted for railways. There is a large sum voted for roads and bridges this year. The West Coast and South Island does not come out so well in the money voted lor public works this year.
