GREAT LOSS OF LIFE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Sept. 16. Scvero gales tiro prevailing on tho English coast. Nine Calais cod vessels foundered in the North Sea, and fifty persons were drowned. The steamer Berwick, of Hartlepool, has been lost of! the Firth of Forth. Tho captain and ten of the crew were drowned.
