At tho wool sales the Kawakawa clip sold at 7gd, Poporangi Slid, Woolburn 20;' cl. . . Wheat: Tho average of country markets is 26s 6d. Wheat has declined 5s on the month. At tho tallow sales 1300 casks were offered, and 750 sold. Prices are unchanged.
By Telegraph —Pross Association. Napier, last night. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company have received the following cablo:—Prices show a slight appreciation in value. To-day’s quotations are : Canterbury mutton 3£d, Napier, Wellington and North Island 3§d, lamb (first quality) sd, second 4Jd.
