Shearers’ Dispute.
SETTLEMENT ARRANGED,
By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night, At a conference of shearers and sheepowners, hold in Christchurch to-day, a settlement of the questions in dispute was arranged after a lengthy discussion, and therefore the time of the Arbitration Court will not be occupied in the hearing of what promised to be a lengthy case. The arrangement is for three years, but tho terms are not public yet.
