800 HANDS THROWN OUT OF WORK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Adelaide, Oct. 10. The directors of block 14, Broken Ilill, have decided in cease operations owing to tile low price of metals. Tnis will make the closing of tho Port Adelaide smelters imperative, throwing three hundred men out of work.
