LOCAL OPTION BY MAJORITY
EMPLOYMENT BY BARMAIDS PROHIBITED.

The new ordinance in tho Transvaal provides for tho application of local Option by a majority, or the exclusive control of tho liquor traffic by trusts fur public purposes.
The employment of barmaids is prohibited.
