BRIGANTINE DISMASTED. By Teleeraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. News has been received that the brigantine Eliza Firth has been dismasted in Quc-en Charlotte Sound, and is now lying at anchor under Long Island. A tug left port to-night to tow the brigantine to Wellington.
CITY ELECTION. Dr Findlay has been nominated for "Wellington City.
