LOCAL OPTION POLL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. The proceedings at tho inquiries into the petitions against tho local option polls at Gaverslmm, whero Mr Carew, S.M., presided, and at Chalmers, whero Mr C. C. Graham presided, and Bruce, where Mr G. Cruickshank presided, wero all formal. The evidence of tho returning officer was in each case taken, and tho proceedings then adjourned till next month. A DIVORCE CASE. JuaPco Williams reserved his decison in tho divorce case Ross v. Ross, on tho wifo’s petition.
