A SUDDEN DEATH.
SIR FREDERICK SARGOOD. .([Per Press Association), Auckland, last night. Sir Frederick Sargood, of Victoria, head of the well-known firm of Sargood, Son, and Ewen, died suddenly at Taihape this morning. He was at the time of death on a holiday tour in New Zealand, accompanied by Lady Sargood and son. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Jan. 2. Much regret is expressed in political and commercial circles in Sydney and Melbourne at the death of Sir Frederick Sargood.
