Amongst recent visitors to the colony was M. de Shaniavski, a Russian journalist, representing the Novoe Vreruya, o i St. Petersburg. He is writing artioles on New Zealand for his journal. M. do Shaniavski loft for Sydney Iby the Yen. turai but returns to Auckland shortly.
