The burglars got nothing, the proprietress having taken the precaution, in view of the earlier robbery to remove about £IOO before retiring.

THE PREMIER; HOKITIKA, last night. The Premier received a number of public deputations this morning, and was attending the races this afternoon- He proceeds to Kumara tomorrow, and to Ross on Thursday. H’e will be entertained at Hokitika on Friday night, and will probably deliver a political address at Hokitika next Monday night.
