WELLINGTON NEWS.
ARRIVAL OF THE CORINTHIC. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Corinthic, the second of three new steamors, each of 12,800 tons, built by the White Star Company for the New Zealand trade, arrived in the stream to-night from London. There are nearly four hundred passengers aboard. LABOR CLAIM. The Wellington Plasterers' Union has filed a dispute with the Master Builders and Contractors Association. A minimum wage of £3 12s per week, aud Is per hour for broken time, is claimed. ACCIDENTAL DEATH. At the adjourned inquest concerning the death of Thomas Pay, aged 60 years, who was killed by being run over by trucks at the Thomdon railway station, a verdict of accidental death was returned.
