At a mooting called by advertisement tho Eev. Tromayne Duustan explained that tho roasons that lod to his departure and subsequent return to Australia was financial difficulty arising in connection with the establishing of tho church in Westralia when ho first came to Australia, and the difficulty had gradually incroaßed through having to pay exorbitant interest. Tho burden became so intolerable that it led to the fatal blunder of his leaving under the belief that he could recover himself by a lecturing tour in America. When ho realised tho blunder ho decided to return to face tho situation. Ho stated that his total indebtedness was uuder throe thousand, and he believed that he could clear himself. Ho complained of harsh treatment by the New South Wales congregation. Ho repudiated tho charges of dishonesty and trickery cucrout in certain quarters. He said that he had blundered, but vvus not guilty of intentional acts of dishonesty.
