WORKING AGAINST THE BRITISH

Advices from St. Petersburg states that the Governor of Teheran, being suspected of British leanings, has been made Governor of Arabistan, within the British sphere. Other ollicials have been similarly transferred to provinces. A new Persian periodical has been started at Askabad, devoted to promoting closer relations with Russia.
The German Crown Prince shortly visits St. Petersburg, after which he visits the Sultan.
