The Gairloch Wreck.

By Telegraph—Press Association. New Plymouth, last night,

Tho preliminary enquiry into the wreck of the Gairloch is being held to-day by the Collector of Customs. It is not open to the press. The Harbor Board’s dredge yesterday salvaged the ship’s stores and furnishings, and weather continues fine it should be possible to save a groat deal. There is do chance of getting her off. The Harbor Board declined to allow the dredge to proceed to tho wreck to-day.
