A new kind o£ potato has come into the market at Homo called “ Tindlay’s Now Northern Star.” It is so scarce that £SOO were paid for ono ton and even higher prices were ottered. One person planted '22lb which yielded 15 cwt of handsome tubers, all sound ; a dozen roots produced 1191 b, and one root produced 65 beautiful tubers, weighing exactly 101 b.
