Melbourne, Feb. 8. Sir E. Barton stales that be knows nothing of the New Zealand proposal to obtain a training ship for boys. The agreement makes no provision for a training ship for boys, so tho fresh proposal is one that New Zealand adopts ou its own responsibility, and not a matter upon which the Federal Government could have anything to say.
