STEAMER AGROUND.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Wanganui, last night. The s,s. Glenelg, bound from Onohunga to Wanganui, after crossing the bar last night, ran aground on the South Spit. The schooner Toroa was going out with tho aid of her oil engine, and to avoid a collision the Glenelg stopped, with the above result. Attempts are being made to float her at high tide.
