CHRISTCHURCH GAS COMPANY.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Christchurch, last night. At the annual meeting the shareholders of the Christchurch Gas Company adopted the report of the directors declaring a dividend of 5 per cent, for the half-year, making 10 per cent, for the year, and a balance of £2120 left to be carried forward. The balance-sheet showed the clear income to have been £45,622, and after paying for material, wages, and so on there remained a balance of £12,468.
