Winners of any handicap after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b?. Ail open races except Maiden and District Welter race. The district shall be the Waiapu County boundaries. Hmses must have been owned and in the district at least three months previous to races. Nominations for ail handicaps must be in the hands of the Secietary before 8 p.m. on FEBtiUABY 7th, 1903, accompanied by nomination fees, name, age, pedigree, and performances, also colors of riders. Weights declared on FEBKUAItY 14th, and general entry night. Acceptances due on FEBEUAHY 28th, at 8 p.m., at Keedy’s Hall, Tuparoa. All protests to be given in writing within 15 minutes of race, and accompanied by a deposit of 2 sovs, which shall be forfeited if protest not sustained. All races run under Metropolitan rules.
