G. 1 Mr Chamberlain was presented v.-tth an f address of wolcotno at Bloemfontein from . the municipalities of Orange Colony, wherein all the Dutch delegates con- -| curred, expressing a hope that Blocmfon- ; tein would soon be a federal capital. Mr j Chamberlain, returning thanks, declared that their kindness was overwhelming. He interpreted the rejoicings of the occa- f sion aud the unique reception accordei him on Tuesday to mean that they recognised tho motives of his visit.
