Sale of Stock.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night. The sole of pure-bred and grade shorthorn cattle belonging to the Milbourne estate, recently disposed of to the Government, took place to-day. Pure-bred shorthorn bulls brought from 6 to 49 guineas, pure-bred shorthorn cows from 9 to 56 guineas, heifers 4% to guineas. Grade catttle brought as follows : Yearling heifers up to £3 14s, two-year-old heifers to £5 10s, cows to £7 13s, yearling steers £4 ss, two-year-old steers £4 4s to £5 10s, empty cows £6, three-year-old steers £6 3s. Draught horses brought £3O to £3B, and hacks £4 10s to £23 lOS.
