WILSON’S ATTACK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Feb. 19. Mr Copeland has cabled the Premier that the effect of the Daily Mail and other atrocious articles was disastrous. Mr Wise also cabled that he addresses a meeting cf city men on New South W a ' es fiuances. Mr See has despatched a lengthy cable to the English press setting out the financial position. He declares the assets double the liabilities, and claims the State could meet the whole of its interest charges aud have a balance in its favor of £200,000, without having to resort to taxation of any kind or without parting with any of its public lands.
