C. Williamson’s new English and American Dramatic Organisation at the Theatre Royal will be opened at Mr Miller’s this morning at It) o'clock, when a record booking of seats is anticipated. Tho enormous success which these plays have achieved during the present New Zealand tour is so well known amongst playgoers that it lias created a stimulus in tho desire of tho Gisborne public to witness them, and thero can bo little doubt that tho theatre will ho crowded on each evening of their presentation. This attraction, Mr Williamson Mutes, is absolutely the

greatest ho has over sent on tour through Now Zealand. The company interpreting tho throo dramas is a very strong one numerically, as it is brilliant artistically, there being no less than 40 picked performers, headed by tire eminent American actor, Mr Cuyler Hustings, who will impersonate the world-famous detective in “Sherlock Holmes,” Francois Villon in “ Lf I Were King.” and Lewis Duruout (tho spy), in the great military drama “ Secret Service.” Jn order to satisfy any doubts on the matter, it may bo mentioned that tho company will be precisely the same as that which is now dolighting over flowing audiences in Auckland, whilst each piece will be produced with exactly tho sume scenic effects and accessories. One of the marked features of tho forthcoming productions will bo the lighting effects, in which the various scenes aro gradually developed before the audience. Mr Williamson engaged a famous elec trical expert during his recent visit to England, and a speciul electrical plant is carried so that no hitch may occur in this department, which is one of tho features of the 11 Sherlock Holmes ” production.
