The water from this well had been used to rinse the machines, and when its use was discontinued the butter immediately improved. Greater facilities for this experimental work are required, however.

Large hauls of big schnapper are beino caught off Coal Cliff, Clifton, New South Wales, by local fishermen in small open boats. A fishing club is being formed at Clifton, and it is intended to purchase a new oil launch, at a cost of £IBO.
