LOAN AT 41 PER CENT,

Per Press Association Dunedin, last night. At a meeting of the Drainage Board tenders were opened for a loan of £40,000 bearing 41 per cent, interest, the debentures being of £SO each and having a currency of 21 years. Forty-nine tonders were received, amounting to £126,150, or more than three times the amount. The premium ranged for 30s to 15s.
