THE MULLAH FORCED TO RETREAT.

The Mullah, avoiding an engagement, retreated to Galadi, fifty miles away. The fighting was limited to scouts. There were no British casualties. Lack of transport prevented the British pursuing. The Boers did excellent work as mounted putrols.
