.(Per Press Association,) NAPIER, last night. .The eleventh annual meeting oi the accident assurance society, of the United Fire Brigades Association of New Zealand was held here this evening, A motion to deline, if possible, the term “ accident ” was left in the
hands of the committee. Motions to alter the system of registration, and to amend the rule re the investment of funds were both negatived. A committee was appointed.to obtain information jn respect to'increasing the .subscription, with a view to enabling greater benefits to be paid to members. The following officers were elected : —President, Captain Toomey Lyttelton; Vice-President, Capts. Phillips (.Sumner) and Kivell (Stratford ; Secretary and Treasurer, Superintendent J.
