APPEAL COURT.

The Appeal Court is engaged to-day in throe cases involving disputed points under the Public Works Amendment Act, 1900, as to the dedication of land for widening streets. The most important was that of Rockland, recently cut up and sold at the Hutt, where the vendors only gave the full width to one frontage, the result being a series of zigzag streets. The Chief Justice held that full width must be given on every frontage. Judgment was reserved*
