At the Homebush sales sheep were short in supply, and the market was the dearest experienced for some time. Best wethers brought 15s lOd, good 14s 6d to 15s, medium 12s, best ewes 15s 6d, good 14s to 14s 6d, medium 11s 6d. Cattle also improved in prices. Best bullocks brought £l3 10s, extra £ls, good £lO, medium £8 ; best cows £9, good £7 ss, medium" £6; best beef £33 per lOOlbs.
