AN OLD MAN’S DEATH.
By Telegraph.—Pres3 Association. Napier, last night. An elderly man named Charles Elsmere Noble, aged 74, an inmate of the refuge, who got leave on Saturday to go to Awatoto, was picked up on the road, having been seen to fall down. As he appeared to be suffering considerably he was taken to the Hospital, where he died. An inquest was held this evening, and a verdict of death from natural causes was returned,' the medical evidence showing that death had beet) caused by a clot on the brain.
