The Bov. Marion Lake, one of the most learned theologians and eloquent orators in the State of Mississippi, has been convicted of bigamy at Port Gibson. The ovidence showed that he had married no fewer than seven wives. In defence it was pleaded that Mr Lake was insane, or he would never have done such a thing.
