!/V Reuter’ message states that, a deputation from the labur organisation asked that legislation be provided to make it unlawful to prepay passages or assist the immigration to Canada of any persons under contract to labor, Mr Mu luck replied that the proposal was against the public interest and inter-imperial sentiment, and
would check British immigrants. it was objectionable from every standpoint.
