Furthor fighting is reported in the Philippines. Colonel Persbings’ battery shelled Bacolod, a Mindanao stronghold. A battalion of infantry and a dismounted troop of cavalry then crossed the moat, 40ft deep and 30ft wido, surrounding the stronghold, and Bcalcd the earthworks, bayoneting the enemy. The attackers had three casualties. A hundred of the enemy were killed.
