Millions of tons of rocks were thrown up, covering the entrance to the mine, burying buildings, and covering all persons outside the workings. Some reports state that the country is covered with lava and scoria. Crow’s Nest river is blocked with lava. A new crater is ejecting lava. SIXTY MEN IN GREAT PERIL.
