AUSTRALIA RENEWS CONTRACT
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, May 8. Sir E. Barton states that a contract has practically been concluded with tho Union Company, extending tho Vancouver service for two years at a slightly increased subsidy. Sir E. Barton stipulates that one of the steamers shall bo brought up to the efficiency of tho other two.
