Ido not see where all the fuss comes in, seeing that stock eat ragwort and get fat on it. In my young days, the first thing the hoys had to do when the turnips were hoed was to go and cut the tansy. I would recommend that system to be followed in New Zealand, and the members of the County Counci 1 should see that it is done. If the councillors paid more attention to the Canad ; an thistle (a weed that nothing will eat and which simply takes possession of the ground), and find a remedy to destroy small birds they would be doing a service to farmers which would he or more valued 1
