Judgo Conolly gave judgment in the arson caso against David Somerville for setting liro to tho bocks and premises of his employers, John lteid and Co. Releasing accused on 12 months’ probation, subject to sureties for good behavior, the judgo said tho evidence showed that accused could havo gained nothing boyond concealing incompetent book-keeping. It was moro the act of a lunatic than of a sano man.
