A PITIFUL DEATH.
(Per Press Association,)’ Christchurch, last night. An inquest on an elderly man named John Quine was held to day. A verdict was returned that he fell down the steps near the Supremo Court wbilo in a state of intoxication, receiving injuries which caused his death.
