HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY SCHOOL.
Tho annual distribution of prize o in connection with Holy Trinity Church Sunday School took pluco on Friday. There was a largo attendance of scholars, parents and friends. The Rev. W. Welsh was present, and opened tho proceedings with a short address. The most of the evening was taken up with exhibiting some lime-light views, the lantern being kindly lent for the occasion and worked by Mr Alex. Thomson. Tho slides, which wore also kindly lent by Air W. F. Crawford, proved very interesting and instructive. During an interval the prizes woro distributed by tho Superintendent (Mr G. 11. Lysnur), to the successful winners. Tho following children received prizes : —First class (girls), Alary Hill, Amy AleConnell, and Gortie Poswillo; 3econd class, Katie Hill, Charlotto Morrell, and Kathleen Alorgan ; third class, Ethel Ellery, Alay Edwards, and Nellie Edwards ; fourth class, Claudia Taylor, Phyllis DeLuutour, and Alarjory DeLautour; fifth class, Winnie Bailey, Florrie Winter, and Alilly Nicholl. First class (boys), Fred Gumming and Gerard Sampson; second class, Arthur Hill and Arthur Beore ; third class, Albert Fyson, Henry C. Nolan, and Bertie Stevenson ; fourth class, Trevor Stringer, Grevis Winter, Geoffrey Parker, and Charlie Burt; fifth class, Wilh’e Edwards, Roy Ellery, Bertie Kemp, and Cecil Ellery ; the two latter boys obtained equal marks. During the ovening Mr E. A. Douglas feelingly recited “ The way to heaven.” Before the proceeding terminated each child wan presented with an illuninated et card.
