The New Zealand Grand National meeting concluded on Saturday, the weather being unsettled. A sum of £6OIO was put through tho totalisator. The following aro the results : Maiden Steeplechase.—Alarine (Wilson) 1, Hipstone 2, Mount Zeehan 3. Marksman was scratched. Alarine came in by himself. Time 5.8. Div. £3 3s 6d, York Wolter Handicap.—Putty (Ryan) 1, Durable 2, Val Rosa 3. Scratched; Crusoe and Maroon and Gold. Won by a length. Timo 1.52&. Div. £3 11s and £2 18s. Winter Steeplechase.—Cannongate(Higgins) 1, Nor’-west 2, Hylas 3. Scratched : Haydn. Won by about two lengths. Time 6.501. Div., £1 13s 6d. Campbell Hurdle Race.—Meteor (Quinton) 1, Mars 2, Lady Bell 3. All started, Aletoor was always prominent, and Yvon by nearly a leDgth. Time, 3.37. Div. £4 10s 6d and £1 Is 6d.

There was beautiful weather for the concluding day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s Winter Meeting, but tho course was heavy and greasy, and everything under foot was wet. The attendance was fair. The sum of £3750 10s was put through the totalisetor, making a total for the meeting of £8436 10s. Kesults

Second Hurdles.—Khaki 1, Southerly Buster 2, Waikaia 3. Seven started. Won by half a length, after a punishing finish. Time 3.6 3-5, divs, £6 4s and £1 2s. A protest for boring and inconsistent running was dismissed. Invermay Welter. St. Denis 1, Juniper 2, Noblesse 3. Wild West and Koputai were scratched. Won by three lengths. Time 1.23 4-3, divs. £2 12s and £6 4s.

Provincial Handicap.—Lady Lillian 1, Terrapin 2, Bombardo 3. Tsaritza and Vlftdimi'.r were scratched. Won by about a length and a half, after 3 determined challenge by Terrapin, who was three lengths in front of Bombardo. Time 2.20, div. £2 4s.

Novel Handicap. Battler 1, Witch Winnie 2, Picket 3. Enliver was the other starter. Won by two lengths and a half. Time 1.26 2 f>, div. £2 Ss. The winner was bought in for £42,
