Sir, —The letter signed ,l One Who Pays ” represents the views of importers so well that it ought to be hung up in the Harbor Board office in letters of gold to show the members the suicidal policy they have carried on so long. I consider the wharfage should be reduced to 2s 6d a ton all round, and whatever is short to add it on to the land. The lighterage should also be reduced by at least Is a ton, considering the facilities the Harbor Board have given.
