FARMERS’ UNION.
Per Press Association, New Plymouth, last night,
The Provincial Conference of the Farmers’ Uniou opened this morning. About 40 delegates were present, also Mr McCurdy, the chief organiser. The proceedings will last two days, the order paper being a long one. The delegates will be entertained at a smoke concert to-night by the leading business people.
