NEW ZEALAND TEAM TO ‘TOUR AUSTRALIA, Per Press Association; WELLINGTON, last night. The four deputies appointed hy the New Zealand Rugby Union to select twenty-two players to represent the colony in a tour of New South Wales and Queensland have chosen the following BACKS: R, McGregor, Asher, and Kiernan, of Auckland. Wallace, of Wellington. McGregor, Wood, and Harvey, of Canterbury. Stalker and Duncan, of Otago. Stead, of Southland. FORWARDS: Tyler, I). Gallagher, Nicholson, and Long, of Auckland. Armstrong, Udy, and McMinn, of Wairarapa. •J. Spencer, of Wellington. Cook and Fanning, of Canterbury. Porteous and Given, of Otago.
