WANGAHUI’S TOWN CLERK
MR PURNELL RETIRES AFTER 26 YEARS’ SERVICE.

Wanganui, last night.
Mr James Purnell, who been town clerk for the past twenty-six years, and has just resigned the office, was to night presented with an illuminated address and a. gold albert. Mrs Purnell was also presented with a handsome granify chain.
