Masterton, last night.
The sheep dog trials yesterday wore very successful. Tho huntaway was completed. Out of twenty-two competitors, J- G. Sutherland’s Grib was first, with 26 points ; same owner’s Bob with 23 points, 2 5 T. W. Muir’s Help, third, 21 points ; J. P. Mackuy’s Bouse, fourth, 19 points. The trials will be finished to-day.
The Thursday senior Wairarapa repres sentatives beat the Manawatu junior* at football by 21 points to nil. Masterton beat Carterton, Wairarapa, in the championship hockey match by three goals, to two.
