We are rapidly coming to the conclusion that the most loud-mouthed Democrats—the greatest advocates for the rights of the people against the usurpation of authority by hereditary rulers—are as ready to worship a title or to hanker after monarohial geegaws as the most confirmed worshipper of Royalty.
